The clay courts are open and the STC's outdoor tennis season has begun.
Our first club event, the Seventh Annual Max and Sam Abrams Tennis Rally was held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 from 9am to noon. Our regular monthly mixers occur on the first Saturday morning of each month.
Play on the STC Ladder has also started. Complete the relevant section of your application form if you are interested or send an email to the club if you forget to complete that portion - admin[at sign]springfieldtennisclub.com.
The Senior Doubles Tournament and the Adult Lesson Program have been postponed indefinitely due to illness of the organizer. Other upcoming events are as follows:
Aug. 8 - 9, Western Mass. USTA Youth Team Tennis Championships (on hard and clay courts).
Aug. 18 - 19, USTA New England Junior sectional Tournament (on hard courts only).
Sept. 5, STC Monthly Mixer (8am - Noon)
Sept. 12 - 13, Robert Freedman Memorial Tournament. (See Tournament page for entry form.)
Oct. 3, Final Mixer and STC Annual Meeting
